The structure of REAL RADIO is not based on any alien formats or the preferences of the management, but to play music that the country wants. There was a dire need for a station that plays music for the young, the middle aged and the elderly while keeping to the norms of broadcasting ethics. As to the choice of music, REAL RADIO plays music from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, up to 2009’s #1 hits, as it’s the “perfect blend” for any listener. Voice of Asia (Pvt) Ltd first started our Sinhala sister station Siyatha FM. With Siyatha off the ground the respective chairman’s vision was to start an English station. In the past 4 years under the flagship of VOA, REAL RADIO, Siyatha Fm, Vettri Fm (our Tamil sister station) and in the near future – Siyatha TV and many more channels are due to hit the airwaves to entertain all Sri Lankans.

Apart form hosting the morning show, REAL RADIO is headed by Jimmy Deen who has 16 years of radio experience behind him, with a multitalented crew to back “your REAL RADIO”
